I hit on a great way to loosen stuck zippers. I grabbed the zipper just below the working part with pliers, Then rotated the pliers back slightly to work in the blade of a screw driver. After that a simple twist of the screw driver, and the zipper mover a fraction. Move the pliers up and repeat. It took all of 15 seconds to free a zipper that I know I would have broken by any other method I have heard of. Worked great.
