I hobbled into the doctors today. An injection with anaesthetic and steroid worked wonders for the first hour or so. Now it is not too bad, but still hobbling a bit. The steroid takes up to 24 hours to kick in. We need to talk about to do next John. We had an intern there too and when my doc and I spoke pig French the intern was so impressed. I was impressed my doctor could do it instead of referring me to a specialist to pay $300 and that it worked immediately. Now the anaesthetic has more or less worn off the pain has returned but I hope the steroid helps reduce the inflammation in the next day or two.
