I hold in high regards and humility my employment with the State - TopicsExpress

I hold in high regards and humility my employment with the State of Mississippi. That being said, I do not make it a habit of commenting on matters of State, as it reflects on me, as well as my boss. I do, howevever, understand that everyone is allowed to voice their opinion but to do so in such a manner as I have seen on this media outlet is purely horrendous. Extremely harsh comments have been thrown in the same manner that stones were thrown centuries ago. Comments that I have seen are very hurtful and slanderous to say the least. I as a human (and youth pastor) can not comprehend why people can become so engulfed with fury, over a simple building. The Commissioner and the Mayor have done more in their respective terms than most of their predecessors ever fathomed. This building will put Monticello in a museum that tens of thousands visit each year. These public servants are doing what they feel is in the best interest of the people whom they serve. So it is with that I say, look at the facts and realize that your words hurt. Just as Jesus said, He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” (John 8:7 NKJV)
