I honestly feel like I am the only person who prefers staying in and watching movies and being lazy with the person Im interested in rather than going out to eat or going to the movies. Yes, going out is nice, but I can make them a nice dinner at home (or vice versa) or we can make homemade popcorn and have a movie marathon and we can have a less expensive date that way. We can take a road trip to somewhere weve never been and make new memories. We can bond by buying Gundam kits and building models together and having robot wars. We can watch anime and discover new anime that we mutually enjoy together. We can collaborate in writing stories or making comic books. We can play video games and kick each others asses. We can be nerds together. We can be geeks together. We can openly share things we find interesting and try and invest some time in it to see if we can find another mutual enjoyment. We can build forts. We can take pictures together and reminisce on them later. We can do all of it at home, we dont need to make it public to make it known to one another that we adore them, love them, and cherish them. I dont want someone consistently buying me things to try and prove their love to me. Prove it to me by sitting on the couch with me and taking a nap. Prove it to me by leaving me cute notes in random places, to find whenever I might be cleaning that certain spot or what have you. Prove it to me by kissing me even when youre mad at me. You can have a date at home, but it wont mean anything unless you actually mean something to each other.
