I honored my Gramma today. Nan Clark was no joke. She was one of Jehovahs Witnesses, and she was TRUE to it. OLE SKOOL. She stood in rain, snow, sleet and hail. For her, it was about her community and saving souls. For ME, its about my community and saving families. Strong communities build strong families.......I come from a severely dysfunctional family, and I dont want ANYONE to experience those feelings more than they have to. Anything that builds up our community reduces the incidence of domestic violence in our zip code. Besides death, domestic violence is the NUMBER ONE divider of families. We can do better, by educating our young men and women. To do this, we MUST have events they will come to, ENJOY, and walk away with information they just might pay attention to. THIS IS OUR RESPONSIBILTY. I know my Gram would have approved of my choice to come out and be a part of this event. Because of the success of todays event, we MAY just start talking about a CARNIVAL just for the Far Northeast. Now...how about THEM apples??? ~ diva
