I hope all of you, and your families, are enjoying a good NEW YEAR. There is much to do this year. I will continue to work to support good, local, CLEAN FOOD providers in Missouri and elsewhere. To do that I will continue to oppose the reach of RIGHT TO FARM. For those of you that havent heard..... the Missouri Supreme Court will hear the RIGHT TO FARM BALLOT LANGUAGE question on Feb 25th, at 9 am. It goes without saying that the inclusion of Missouri Citizens in the ballot language of RTF, was not only deceptive, but prejudicial. We will see if the Court sides with Big Ag ( as of yet, only the Chinese and a Corp from Iowa have located CAFOs here. ( Missouri Citizens?)). I will continue to work for the RIGHT of THE PEOPLE to KNOW their FOOD. Labeling should reflect all contents giving REAL CHOICE to consumers. Finally, I will work for new local entrepanuers to SELL their PRODUCTS to those that wish to buy from them.... period. NO GOVERNMENT should have the right to tell you what you can grow, raise, or cook/bake in YOUR KITCHEN. All of the later should be a no-brainer in the LAND OF THE FREE. Right? Thank you all for your continued support and your courage to stand up and say NO. We need more of you. REAL CITIZENS of this country, state by state, are waking up and trending toward those products that can be raised, grown, processed and manufactured LOCALLY where the economic benefits are immediate. Things must change. Decide THIS YEAR is the year we will stand as one ( not republicans, democrats, independents, constitutionalists or martians ) in support of those things that ALLOW US to realize the re-localization of food security, economy, jobs, fuel conservation and, eventually, local food and product price point stability.
