I hope all of you mothers had a lovely day yesterday! Special thanks to my Mom, without whom I would not be where I am, or doing what I am doing, today. More than 10 years ago, after many years of dealing with strange and unsettling GI symptoms, she was diagnosed with Celiac disease. It was the first time I ever heard the term gluten-free. When I decided to go to chiropractic school, she was my biggest supporter. Years later, still trying to recover her health, she was given a copy of Dr. Ks book Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms When my Labs Tests are Normal? She passed it along to me and I knew I had found my mission in life too. And several weeks later when Dr. K was coming to New York to teach his breakthrough Mastering the Thyroid course, my mom helped my sure I was there. So thanks Mom, for all of your support and for making me not only the woman, but the doctor, I am today. And if my work has helped you in anyway, you can send up a silent prayer of gratitude for my momma too :-)
