I hope everyone can experience the Divine Liturgy, not just Greek - TopicsExpress

I hope everyone can experience the Divine Liturgy, not just Greek but Antiochian (i.e. Semitic, a.k.a. Melkite), Russian (ROCOR) and others. Or (if your attention span / learning curve is like mine) just attend Saturday evening Vespers at your local Eastern or other liturgically purist church. (For example many High Church [Catholic] Anglicans [as well as Old Catholics and Polish National] are breaking with Canterbury and joining Rome and [particularly the monastic ones] Constantinople [where the Nicene Creed actually comes from, FYI: believe me, you would not recognize the draft initially promulgated at Nicea]). There is a saying that a flower in a field laughs, while a flower in a pot only manages to smile.
