I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas...we are definitely looking forward to starting a new year. Our Christmas fell right around the 6 month anniversary of the accident and it hit Mickayla pretty hard. The excitement of the holidays coupled with her grieving the loss of her friend led to quite a few emotional times for our family. We were able to visit with close family and she was with her cousins and aunts and uncles so that all helped. We truly understand the reason for the season and we are very grateful for every obstacle we encounter. Every obstacle we conquer makes Mickayla stronger and makes us a tighter, stronger family. Everyone please celebrate your new year however you choose, but please be safe doing it and do not drink and drive. Prayers to the Taylor family and Mickayla please.
