I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We are so blessed to celebrate Christ the Lord and worship Him. We are under $6,000 to reach our goal to pay for the new floor. It has been such a blessing to see our families, students, alumni, friends, and businesses respond by giving toward the new floor. Weve received several gifts over the holidays. Even though we are not at school several families have emailed me that they have donated online or mailed their donation. You still have time give and get a tax credit for 2014. You can donate online at praiseacademy at the top ot the home page or mail your check to the school. As a reminder, the new floor will be installed over the Christmas break. The installation process requires a lot of welding of the floor together. The floor comes in rolls 5 ft. wide and 70 ft. long strips. The floor is glued down. They will have to weld all the sections together. In addition there will be at least 3 full days of painting the floor. I just learned that the floor requires at least 3-4 days of drying and curing. Therefore, we have to extend the Christmas break by 4 days. Students were to return to school on Tuesday, January 6. However, students will return on Monday, January 12. I appreciate your understanding in this matter. As in the past, we keep our childrens safety top priority. Again, this new safe floor will benefit our students every day. Mrs. Mattick will be in the office on Monday, January 5, from 9am to 1pm to allow parents to turn in re-enrollment, tuition, and other items (school mail, etc.). You can always mail items to the school or pay online through RenWeb. Blessings, Mr. White
