I hope everyone is enjoying their Spring break! Heres a quick forward from the Political Science Club looking for volunteers: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Service Project Opportunity! Commemorating Cesar Chavez Day: March 31st. READ TO K-4 STUDENTS IN LOCAL SCHOOLS! One hour. Meet people. Make a difference. Enhance your resume. Get engaged! --No long-term commitment.-- One class? Two? More? Its YOUR choice! The children are waiting for YOU!!! --Some schools have asked us to read to ALL of their students!-- Volunteers are needed to read Harvesting Hope to children in public schools as part of a diversity reading program on March 31st. Books will be provided by the American Democracy Project of IU South Bend. The Cesar Chavez Foundation believes in mentoring children to help them succeed in school. We need volunteers and organizations to adopt a specific school or schools (click URL for details).
