I hope everyone takes a half-time break or 7th inning stretch from this game of life that has gotten a little stressful. So it was when Jesus came onto the scene as a little baby. He was threatened by big government, his folks were poor, paying their taxes when it would have been better to have just stayed at home, they didnt fit in with the rest of society, etc. But, Angels visited them. Rather than retaliating, they pondered in their hearts the things that had happened and were happening. And, the baby grew up. Misunderstood, threatened by big government and oppressive religiosity, homeless, abandoned by closest friends, falsely accused and finally killed. Sound familiar? Father forgive them, they know not what they do! And, God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, to die, so that whosoever stopped long enough to ponder in their hearts, believe in his cause and follow him, would have a new birth of freedom and perspective that would last forever and ever and ever. youtu.be/JPsgIhlYQmM
