I hope everyone will be able to read the below post. It is from one of the campers that attended Camp Oasis this past week. This camp is specifically created for children and teens with Crohns and Colitis. To say that Alexandria Davidson looked forward to camp every year would be a true understatement. Campers would have barely left and she was already planning for the following year. This is why it is so important to us at BBTP that we send as many campers as possible. We will not only be supporting Camp Oasis, but many other camps that provide kids the opportunity to feel normal for one week out of the year. Kids that are misunderstood because they dont look sick but trust me; looks can be VERY deceiving. Camp brings them all together and they become one of the closest extended family I have ever seen. They do not judge, they do not look down on others, but what they do is embrace and love each other unconditionally. Wow - I wish we could ALL live that way. Thank you, David Boyn for allowing me to share your camp experience with the others. It is greatly appreciated. :)
