I hope everyones been enjoying this glorious weather weve been experiencing! Great climate, great vibes, great food.... inspiration is abounding! This week for appetizers we have fresh plum tomatos stuffed with risotto & baked with mozzarella; fresh caught sardines grilled and nestled on a bed of sautéed tomatos, onions & olives; and our signature puttanesca sauce baked with a fried egg, provolone & served with italian toast points. Now heres where it gets really interesting..... Veal Osso Bucco- fresh veal short ribs braised in miropoix, red wine, & tomato sauce and presented with polenta. Gnocchi Zucca Mirtillo-Chef Tonys homemade pumpkin gnocchi accompanied with butternut squash & homemade sausage, then tossed with aglio & fresh sage...add chicken or veal if desired. Last but definitely not least... Jacquelina Mela Vitello- sautéed veal or chicken topped with carmelized onions & apples then baked with bleu cheese. The osso bucco cooking today made the whole restaurant smell like a typical Sunday afternoon family supper! How can you not love fall!!! Love our Puttanesca or Marinara Sauce?? We are selling Chef Tonys homemade Puttanesca & Marinara sauce. These sauces are heirloom, handcrafted sauces and proudly prepared in small batches, ensuring the absolute in freshness.
