I hope for her sake that this *is* the final step in her treatment, but this is what pisses me off about celebrities saying things that they really know nothing about and feeding the general public misinformation that could literally cost them their lives. Radiation is her insurance policy that she never has to worry about this again? Is this chic smoking crack?!? WTF is she talking about??? Hopefully NO ONE gets radiation and thinks they never have to worry about this again because of her saying that.. THERE IS NO INSURANCE POLICY WITH TNBC! I went through the exact same treatment she did (with the exception of the time that my tumor started growing again and they had to pull me off chemo in order to do the double mastectomy and lymph node removal) but I did a total of 16 rounds of chemo and then 6 weeks of radiation. It was during the 6 weeks FOLLOWING my final radiation treatment that all of these tumors grew in my lungs and in the lymph nodes closest to my heart, which they only found by accident on a pre-op chest xray when they were going to remove my ovaries.. now Im dying from it. I like Joan Lunden and all, but she is DEAD WRONG for saying something like that. *smfh
