I hope its ok for me to share just a tiny bit of an interview with my Uncle Henry and a reporter from the Graham Leader Newspaper. Henry Hughes King was my Uncle and a survivor of the Bataan Death March. He was captured sometime in late March or early April at Clark Field in the Philippines and spent 42 months as a Japanese prisoner of war. I found this VCR tape in his box of things he left me when he died in October, 2014, at the age of 96. This video was made sometime in 1994. Its over an hour long and if anyone is interested, I will post more of the interview later. It is amazing how many interesting things I have found in that mountain of stuff. He and his seven siblings were born and raised in Bryson, Texas, and all, including their parents, are buried in Cottowood cemetery just east of Bryson.
