I hope no one on my list is using Ibuprofen for Pain o. That thing - TopicsExpress

I hope no one on my list is using Ibuprofen for Pain o. That thing destroys Kidney. There are other medications you can use for pain o.(Ask your Doctor). Someone I know is battling to live cos of Ibuprofen usage. And that reminds me. Nigeria doesnt have Organ banks. Chai! Why is Nigeria like this? I remember watching a video of how a football club helped eradicate organ scarcity by making all its fans organ donors when they die. Watch it here, they call themselves Immortal Fans - youtu.be/E99ijQScSB8 Why cant Nigeria do this? We know our clubs dont have fans like that, but why cant a celebrity start that campaign already? In Islam, the living is more primary than the dead, so scholars through IJMA have said YES to organ donations. So religion cant be a barrier for muslims to donate organs. If we are afraid that our organs wont be distributed fairly, and to those in need whether rich or poor, we can vote-in State or Federal Legislators to make Laws that will regulate Organ Banks. But Nigeria hasnt started running Issue Based Campaigns. Till then sha, the lives of those who will need organs will still be shaky. And you might say its not a real problem, but the reality will shock you. The amount of people that die daily because they dont have Organ Donors. And the amount it cost to get one? I hear 8 Million Naira ish. And every day, we bury people with good organs, who wouldnt have blinked if the idea to donate had been thrown to them. Here in New York, to get a Drivers License, one has to fill in a box if one wants to donate ones organs or not. And the information, via Technology, is passed all across Hospitals, and every institution that needs such information in the Country. Even opening Bank Account times, and other formal registrations. That said, a friend of mine needs Kidney. This friend might soon die if this friend doesnt find a match, and you know what? Nigeria cant help this friend. Sad right? Pathetic! Extremely PATHETIC! RIDICULOUS, even. And we say Oyibo arent respecting us, how will they? Will you respect one or those that dont respect themselves? Or treat their lives as precious? Na! We treat people how we see them treat themselves, or how they treat people of their kind. #EnoughSaid #MakeIEndMYRantForHere
