I hope someone is not trying to buy the conscience of the national - TopicsExpress

I hope someone is not trying to buy the conscience of the national conference delegates with 4 million Naira each a month. I am yet to understand the rational behind offering that much monthly for such a patriotic duty. I wonder if that will not close their mouth from the truth of Nigerian problem. Please delegates, take the money but do not let anything undone, or leave without making all wrongs right. All national duties are not meant to be paid for, may our good God not allow the money gain be the focus or let some delegate,s integrity be bought over. They are our heroes to be and the history makers of our time if they can put aside selfishness. I appeal to the organising leaders to re-think the wisdom behind the money thing if it will not end up becoming a 12 million Naira bribe and a 3 months wasted, and money spent unnecessarily. It would have been better for individual states to pay their delegates and not the federal government, so that no sentiment is attached on leaders who want to declare for second terms soon. Let everything be transparent as I celebrate Pastor Tunde Bakaris position to rejecting the money gift meant for delegates. You have shown by that act that you are a patriotic Nigerian. Money is not everything, most times the reject of money gifts is a show of your declaration of support and selfless service and a prove that you are not cheap. My position is they should please take the money and not betray Nigerians who have waited patiently for such a time as this.......
