I hope that our country Nigeria doesnt turn into a one party state. APC governors are being routed out of office not because the PDP is the dream party or anything but for the mere fact that the APC has been unable to provide a viable alternative. The only way the APC can have any impact in the next political cycle is to become a party that is truly devoid of tribal sentiments and provide the best person for the job. To begin with, Tinumbu and Buhari shouldnt be the forerunners of the party. There should be no zoning of political office and the APC should provide a very charismatic leader and Presidential candidate whose choice has nothing to do with state or region but with previous performance. If the APC adopt these principles they might have a shot at the Presidency. They make things too easy for Jonathan. It is almost unbelievable.
