I hope the good people of Nanaimo let the Nanaimo Daily News know - TopicsExpress

I hope the good people of Nanaimo let the Nanaimo Daily News know that just because a reporter at Nanaimo Daily News wants a garbage incinerator in Nanaimo, perhaps other Nanaimo residents dont! Funny thing how these garbage incinerator folks work. They come into a community early, start planting the seeds (a.k.a. money and lots of it) and sometimes the ignorant or the clueless will bite. One of the bigger benefactors if the garbage incinerator comes to town would be some in the print and online media. Lots of money from the garbage burner folks goes to some of these types of publications. This editorial and the reporter who wrote it, spent very little time actually at the conference. He interviewed Barb Hetherington, Richard Anthony and Mike Ewall and somehow forgot to add any of the facts. He also has a built in bias saying he hates recycling. For the record, the Nanaimo Daily News reporter did not stay for any of the presentations. So his report/editorial is basically his biased opinion.
