I hope the ham sandwich was not consumed on Friday - that would have been a double sin. Let me share some reality on facebook users that public opinion higher echelons might not be quite aware of. Unlike a journalist I do not assume that every person addressing me has some hidden intention. Nor do I take a compliment as an offence. I do not speak only when asked and when asked I do not make an immediete evaluation of whether the question asked was asked for me not to answer it or the standard way, to answer it. I am an educated straightforward person who does not believe that someone believing eveyone is selfish in fact is making some well-informed statement about human nature, because I am a living proof of the statement being untrue. I have been unemployed for over four years and it means that sometimes I take a bus to visit my mom and sometimes I walk the distance that is hardly ever walked by people, yet the almost 4 PLN makes a huge difference to me, because it is almost two litres of milk that make my week. To translate it into facebook terms, it means that two or there years ago, when I got a computer - which made it possible for me to use facebook - from my neighbour who thought giving it to me was a better idea than putting it in some rubbish area, next to the rubbish containers, I could click "chat" and seeing my friend Betty online have a conversation. Betty did not live in Cracow and was unemployed for a while too. Unlike you, I cannot make three trips recently, because I cannot afford it. Nor can I make a phone call - I am stickily sticking to my non-mobile approximately 30 PLN plus outcoming calls a month social Orange special offer from years back that makes incoming calls possible but the outcoming ones far too expensive. I find it difficult to talk to people from the past, because they have become very unreal. The best friend I had at the time has become unreal by now too, yet then, two or there years back, I could start my computer, enter facebook, click "chat" and talk to Betty. Guess what! I did not expect Mr Obama, not to mention other misters of lower ranks, to follow my life. If that surprises you, well, what can I say... Not everyone is selfish. I have as much chance to become a First Lady one day as you have had. With all due respect.
