I hope this does not sound like a stupid question, but is there anyway to get some descent sound out of a mono stock radio? I thought about changing it out to one of the newer retro looking radios, but after getting the old one working today I keep getting this urge to keep the original one. I dont mind replacing speakers and I know I would need to put the newer 4-ohm speakers in series to match the radio. I thought about adding additional speakers in the kick panels. I am not looking for great sound, just descent sound to hear sound good old Marshal Tucker Band music, like I did in the 70s. How about it, any thoughts?
