I hope this is allowed! This message really needs to be passed out along animal lovers: PLEASE READ. THIS WILL BREAK YOUR HEART: My dads just told me something that I feel every animal lover needs to hear: Every morning my dad catches a train to go to London, which is where he works. This morning when he arrived at the train station in London, he saw a man, dressed all in leather motorbike clothing, with a small dog who was standing, shaking, at the end of his lead. The man was carrying a bag of dog food and a plastic food bowl. As the man tried to walk, the dog refused to walk so the man put down the food bowl and the bag of food. He picked up the dog, who, upon contact, wet himself out of fear all over the man. Instead of being angry at the dog, the man turned round to my dad and asked him if he would be ok to help him out by carrying the food and the bowl up to one of the offices. My dad went sure and as he spoke, the little dog turn his head around. Both of the dogs eyes had massive cataracts. He must have been at least 12-13 years old. At that point my dad realised that the man must have found the dog abandoned by the side of the road and took pity on him, buying food and a bowl until he could find other arrangements for the dog. Someone, who didnt want to, or couldnt, care for this little dog had left him to fend for himself. It is for this reason that I am sat here typing this out. This is a message for everyone who thinks it is ok to abandon an animal. An animal is for life. It is also for this reason that I have cancelled my Chinchillas 2 Shop order and my Viovet order. Instead of spending money treating my pets, I will be donating the £40 and any money I get for Christmas to a pet related charity. Christmas is the busiest time for rescues with people buying pets as presents before realising they can no longer cope. This Christmas, instead of treating my pets who are fortunate enough to have a warm fire to curl beneath during the cold days, I will be treating the thousands of pets who dont have a family, or a home. I hope you consider doing the same
