I hope those of you downloading our reruns are enjoying them, - TopicsExpress

I hope those of you downloading our reruns are enjoying them, either for the first time or for the tenth. I appreciate the continued interest (as evidenced by the DL numbers on these files). Weve sat in limbo for a long time. I think thats because I wasnt quite ready to tell the story thats coming. Season 3 is much more than I hoped it would be, and as it comes together, I wish I could say more about it. The opening is emotional. The journey is exciting. The finale is starting to really show signs of being epic, in a way the series has never been before. We always want our finales to be emotional, exciting, and surprising, and the events that go down in this one should exceed all three of those. (One might add heart-breaking to the list, too.) To those who have been with us awile, that may seem unsettling. These characters have, for better or worse, been where they are now for almost ten years. Its unsettling for me, too, to finally be advancing this thing. Ive written about 120 pages worth of brand new Frontiers episodes in the past week, and its glorious to be back in the groove after such a ridiculously long absence. Eventually, Id like to get another writer or two but for now... I need to do this. No estimates on when Im going to release the first half of the season, but Ive got the first 5 episodes very far into development. Another 3 and that gives us half a season. Im sure as hell giving it all Ive got, to paraphrase Scotty. Ok, I promised a video. I dont know how terribly interesting these are to hear, but we got some positive feedback a few years ago on our blog when I would post some of the inspirational music that helps make this all coalesce. Were once again returning to Within Temptation (no surprise after the three vids I posted for the start of Season 2). Again, if Frontiers was the sort of show that utilized different end credits themes, youd hear this one at the end of the S3 finale, currently entitled Fallen. It captures a touch of the epic story, and is somewhat lyrically connected Its a looser connection, but as Ive said, the music helps guide the mood, so lyrical connections arent always important. I suppose I should send a shout out to former writer Joe Burdette, who introduced me to this band back in 2006 or so. Been hooked ever since!
