I hope today you feel courageous enough to stop the BS and call everything out for what it really is. Because everything is being so overwhelmingly analyzed that we feel almost uneducated for saying truths, plain and simple. Black and brown life in America is constantly threatened and undervalued and has for centuries been subject to structural violence. Palestinian life and land has been stolen for almost 70 years and Israel is no victim. ISIS is so overwhelmingly represented in the media right now because it reinforces every crap, racist concept of Muslims that has been put out there post 9/11 (and before). America does not represent me when it dehumanizes and kills black and brown life without remorse. Israel does not represent democracy when it steals Palestinian land; it is the last settler colonial project we see today. ISIS does not represent me or Islam but some deranged self-serving project for power. So today stop the bullshit and call everything out, now is not the time to be mild.
