I hope we are prepared to reject the Smith commission findings. From my understanding, if we get this wrong things may get complicated. Full income tax powers may sound a position of strength, but where you call your domicile even if you basically live here will pander to those that can afford to bend the rules. We need control over VAT, setting levels and collecting, OIL REVENUE, BROADCASTING, PENSIONS AND THE ABILITY TO SET UP OUR OWN BANKING SYSTEM. That just off the top of the heed fae a joiner. Be careful the politicians dont just accept this because it makes their position stronger as politicians. Also worried that these findings will mean the Barnet formula may be getting thrown out the windi. And what ever powers we get, our government should be able to put a stop to fracking. Surely!
