I hope we have enough energy for the corn harvest. We just started oiling the tassles on the Early Extra Sweet and Mandan Bride. We have Peaches and Cream sweet corn, Delectable sweet corn, Candy corn, Sugar Baby, and Honey select sweet corn. Also growing popcorn, Japanese Hull less, Dynamite, Pennsylvania Butter Flavor, Cherokee Long ear (this is popcorn/native corn for drying and decor) . AND native corns including Bloody Butcher, Blue miniature, Glass Gem. ............ This garden also has 8 types of winter squash and 4 summer squash varieties. ............ and then there is the other garden with the tomatoes and peppers and watermelon. ............. I am beginning to wonder why we are not selling some of this.
