I hope you all had a very merry christmas!!! Sorry I havent already posted pictures of mine, but mine was eventful to say the least. Bricken and Baylee obviously were on the nice list because Santa did them up right!!! Here are a few pictures of us yesterday. Im sure a million more will be taken over the next few weeks playing with all their toys!!! Although i didnt think Baylee would enjoy many toys due to her medical problems this year, im SO glad i got her some anyway because she has surprised me!!! She had a blast watching bricken open all of his presents and i even made it a fun exercise with her right (weaker, less coordinated) hand to open all of her presents herself!! I got the best gift of all. I didnt think a few months ago that I would have two children alive this christmas.....THANK GOD I DO. It really makes me remember the reason for the season. When my children were born they were in a warm, comfortable hospital room with nurses, doctors, midwives, and students present. We were taken great care of. Anything requested was given. There was a sink with running water, computers everywhere, and although I wasnt the most financially well off father-to-be, I wasnt treated as if we were poor. And then I imagine Jesus Christ, the king of the world, being born in a manger outside. Freezing. Weak and worn parents-to-be having their sweet child in conditions unlike the ones we were given. Thousands of children are born to sinners like me everyday and are given the best environment and care we could imagine, and the savior of the world, the messiah, the alpha and the omega in human form, the almighty king and gift from the creator to the world, who would later be forsaken, beaten, and slain like a lamb for the sins I commit daily, Laid on a pile of hay wrapped in cloth. We are so blessed!!!!!! Please remember the reason we celebrate this day. Santa is the bomb, but thank God for his son and for your children. Your blessings are abundant if youll stop to count them. :) Merry Christmas to you all!!!! #adaylateofcourse
