I hope you find what you are looking for. I shake my head every time a woman says this to me in parting. Youd think I am looking for the Holy Grail or something. Im really not. But, I am at an age and have more than enough experience to know what I am looking for and I refuse to settle for less. Emphasis on that last part; I refuse to settle for less. I give open respectful communication and I expect it in return. You can keep the drama, yelling, screaming, cursing, street talk, etc. I am honest and I expect it in return. And there are no exceptions to this rule. I will make the effort every day to show that the other person is wanted, needed, and loved and YES, it is expected in return. If you are the selfish type who expects all receiving and no giving, keep moving. Selfish people do not last long around me in any capacity. And finally, I will try my best to compliment and encourage relationships with your children and I expect the same in return for my child. If you plan to vary from how I teach her, if you plan to be a bad personal influence on her, etc., keep moving. I will teach her to respect you, but you have to be worthy of that respect. You have to earn it. Youd think that is relatively easy to find. But, not so. Not so at all. And sure, no one is perfect. I am not seeking perfection. No one is perfect. But, if you dont even try, keep moving. I refuse to settle. I simply refuse to settle. Now, if it were not so damn embarrassing to me, Id take the time to share example after example of how women were convinced they fit this description, and then went on to prove they did not. But, cant bring myself to do it. I expect what I give first; open communication, honesty, and faithfulness, to show she is wanted, needed, and loved. Is that so hard to do? It is if you dont live this way on a daily basis already. And that is where the rubber hits the road. Can only fake it so long.
