I hope youre having a beautiful summer. I am grateful for the Earths generosity. We are the recipients of many invaluable gifts courtesy of terra firma. Who would list a summer night amoung the most precious of our planets presents ?. Me. What is it about summer nights that makes going out AND coming home, feel like an adventure ?. How is an evening able to wrap you in a gossamer of warm air and moonlight, yet simultaneously fool your skin into believing you are completely naked. We emerge from and vanish into the night, without ever being invisible. The simmer of a summer evening is our cloak and our portal. It transports us, while being its own destination. Just add music, stir in the right people and youve created an experience that has heightened the senses and added gorgeous textures to the natural richness of the night. These thoughts crossed my mind @Wonderground on Friday as I stood under a tree, smoking, connected to the pulse of great music emanating from inside Bed-Vyne Brew. Thank you Kev Mas and Silence Thompson for giving a fabulous summers evening the sound track it required. As I stood under my tree, I noticed individuals on the wrap around patio would break into spontaneous move dropping. They danced as if no one in the World could see them. If only all illusions could be so completely immersive and benign. Gotta love it. Thats why I hope youre having a beautiful summer, because people can forget that some of the most treasured pleasures have no price tag and in the right environment, it doesnt take much to feel good.
