I identify as both plus size and curvy. Plus size (I have no problem with this term) because of size and curvy because of body shape. What a lot of people are failing to realize is that by substituting curvy as a term for plus size you are essentially taking something away from us ladies that actually are curvy. There have been numerous occasions where I was describing myself to someone who I had not met before and they became confused about what I meant by curvy. I had to clarify for them what I meant by it. You are gradually changing the meaning of a descriptor of something that I really love about my body. - Karen What are your thoughts? I love this sentiment. I wish that curvy wasnt put on some pedestal and that being chubby and fat wasnt an insult.
