I, in agreement with so many alumni of LMU, extend my deepest sympathies for the loss of one of the finest professors I had the pleasure of knowing during my time at LMU, Dr. Ron Thornton. Dr. Thornton was more like a friend to me than an instructor and he genuinely cared about the success of each and every person he taught. He took his time and taught my psychology class in a way that even to this day, I can remember most of what he taught. Dr. Thornton, I thank you. May you rest in peace, dear friend.
