I inadvertently conducted a social experiment on myself. When I started several activist communities, and began getting banned on Facebook for sometimes 10 days where I couldnt even post on my own wall or PM my friends.... I created alter profiles, so I could continue to do the work on my communities. After a while, I began commenting on threads with these personas. To make it less obvious that I was Airika wearing a virtual mask, I altered how I framed my arguments.... even though I was taking the same positions..... I realize now, that as myself, I am a unrelenting hell hound when debating my research. As my alter personas.... well specifically one who appears as an older woman.... I am firm, direct and matter of fact, but without reducing my opponents to smithereens like I do as myself. Now I have to contemplate why this has happened. lol
