I intended to announce this yesterday; my apologies, my throat feels like Mickey Rourkes face looks. Eric Carter, Dave Ghoul and I had been talking for a while about this. Shadowland Lancaster is always looking for new ways to engage our scene, and help bring to light new and upcoming music that we really enjoy - as well as celebrate classic stuff that we all love. To that end, Im happy to announce the creation of Radio Nowhere, Shadowlands official podcast. The first one will be up at 5pm today, Ill post the URL then. There will be interviews with artists, fan-oriented segments, much like college radio used to be, except for us. Itll feature the gamut of electronic music, from IDM to classic industrial to synth pop to the minimal/analog synth revival. This first one is a prototype. This first one features new music by Void Vision, Cenotype, MEND, Hate Department, Stoneburner, Noir, Information Society and more. It will be a monthly affair - and it will not only be available at the website, but on iTunes as well, for convenience purposes. Did I mention its free? (obviously.) Im excited, and I hope you are too.
