I joined this Short Screenplay Challenge which i was recently bumped from; a little disappointing but not completely unexpected. There were only two slots moving on out of thirty and its hard to put your best out there with such a short deadline. I love the challenge and expect to do better the next time around but I got a great review from the judges on my last piece. The Unplacables (A Modern Fairy Tale) by David J Lieto - WHAT THE JUDGES LIKED ABOUT YOUR SCREENPLAY - ..............................Fivers faith in his mothers locket and his dreams is justified by the highly rewarding ending. The dialogue is across the board good, authentic and tailored to each of the boys....A grim, gritty and sadly believable world. Daniels honesty balanced nicely against Keiths kindness. Fiver and Daniels interaction was excellent. So I feel I have a strong start for my next short screenplay. BUT I am currently writing a kick-ass book about the Tooth Fairy and that is priority #2, after National Pastime!
