I joined this amazing It Works team over a year ago now. I had previously worked in hospitality, administration and then got into personal training and working in a gym. I found that my passion was to help people improve their quality of life and live the best life they can. I was a huge skeptic (coming from a fitness background) until I went to a wrap party and fell in love with the results my friends got (i didn’t even try one myself), the products being all natural and the price range being realistic and affordable for the common people. I signed then and there. I had not long had my first son and was looking for something to do from home making money so that I wouldn’t have to go back to work, working for someone else only to have that income go towards the cost of putting my son in daycare and missing out on so much of his upbringing. This opportunity fell into my lap and I took it. I then found being a mother was more time consuming than I imagined and didn’t work the business as much as I thought I would be able to, however I was enjoying using the products myself and knew this was something I was not going to give up in. I kept my autoship going the whole time and had the belief and support that I was going to make this work no matter what and no matter how long it was going to take me. I had the opportunity to expose people to these amazing products that could assist them in achieving their health and wellbeing goals but could also improve their financial situation and help contribute to the household finances if not retire their husbands. It is only now that my business is booming (with the help of my It Works family support, guidance and motivation) that I am gaining control over my finances, gaining independence and self worth but also understanding the impact I can have in other peoples lives by introducing them to our products and opportunity they have to do the same. I have done all this whilst being at home with my son and watching the amazing person he is turning into being. I have learnt to work smarter, not harder.
