I just HAD to share this song...nope, it isnt hip, or kool, or whatever kids say nowadays, but it serves as a reminder to me of something very precious in my heart. I know yall know that Im a preachers daughter...I dont claim to be a Christian, I simply do not feel I live my life accordingly and deserve to call myself one. But I LOVE THE LORD. HE HAS WORKED MIRACLES IN MY LIFE, IN THE LIVES OF MY FAMILY, AND MY BELOVED CHILDREN. Back to the song....Ive talked to my Mom a lot about religion as Ive grown older, and she has referenced many times as to something that is somewhere mentioned in the Bible; about the prayers of the generations. Friends, I truly believe each generation must feel an urgency to pray for the generations to follow us. I have NO DOUBT that the prayers of my parents, my grandparents, their grandparents, their grandparents, and so on, are the reason God has shown me favor in my life. I may not live long enough to see my own grandchildren or the generations to follow, but I will challenge myself to pray daily for them, even though they are not here yet. In conclusion, this old song, sang by these gentlemen, reminds me of my responsibility to pray for the generations. Here is my challenge to you...will you listen to it? Will you hit the like button? Jesus said deny me to your friends and I will deny you to my Father. I hope you have a very blessed Sunday, and take a bit of time to think about those future generations. Ill just say that my precious Mother is A VERY WISE WOMAN. Thanks, Mom and Beeb for all of the prayers...I feel them everyday. I just hope my babies feel mine. xoxo
