I just added all the photos I took with my iphone from my final 3 or so months I spent in China. Photos were taken in Shanghai, Xian, Chengdu, and most the beautiful of all: Jiuzhaigou!! Going to China for a year on scholarship on my own to study Mandarin was the opportunity of a life time, and really just too much fun. Thank you to all those I met while abroad who helped make my experience a blast. For those of you who are still in China and are about to start another semester, I am green with envy, make it count! Learn a 成语 everyday. For any of my American friends considering learning a language or studying abroad, dont count out China, Chinese is not as hard as you think, and there are ample opportunities to live work and or study in China free of cost. I am so happy to be back making music at The University of Houston, but I so look forward to returning to China.
