I just announced that starting this year Guyana will have a National Report Card day, where reports cards will be delivered either to students or parents on the last thursday or second- to- last day of each term. Additionally, the Ministry is also designating the the fourth Thursday of every month as Parent day at the Nursery Level and the second Thursday of every month as Parent Day at the Primary Level. this would allow schools to set a time/schedule for parents to visit and parents would have the right to visit and expect information and discussion with teachers on the childs performance.
