I just attended a Mindanao-wide orientation on Labor Laws Compliance System and ILO Convention No. 81. Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz emphasized on reforms being undertaken by DOLE, like there are now enough Labor Laws compliance Officer designated to visit companies SMEs or big corporations to check on compliance of basic rights like minimum wage, overtime pay, holiday pay, social benefits, occupational health & safety, existence of grievance committee, among other things that the officer will assess; for the companies to comply even if no complaints have been received by DOLE. Caraga DOLE officers & personnel were in attendance. Puede gani daw mag complain by an anonymous individual. DOLE has a website too. Basin yaon mihibalo-an niyo nga mga non compliant, sige na report na dayon.!
