I just bought my ticket to Wisdom 2.0. An event that focuses on mindfulness and thoughtfulness in the age of rampant technology. Its put on by Soren Gordhamer The Mindfulness Movement seems like a natural reaction to those of us whore nearly always connected. This is also closely tied to human aspect of the Collaborative Economy. My friend, Terry Young the CEO of Sparks & Honey, a trend and futurist agency in NY, tells me there are Trends which always result in Counter-Trends, heres how it applies Trend: Were Always On (A different conference, really) with Facebook, iPhones, Twitter, Email, means that were always connected, always answering messages, always networking. Many of my Facebook friends are living, and working, in the heart of technology, I can see the trend sweeping through the technology industry of mindfulness. This event is nearly sold out, and pricing is steeply going up, if youre interested in going, lets attend together.
