I just came across some video here and before i had the chance to share it, it was already gone! But it was a disturbing scenerio engulfing our small kisii town! I refuse to believe that with all we got as women we will expose ourself naked on the streets at night! I refuse to believe that the sense of defeatism has reduced my sisters to 200/= that numb their sense of responsibility! I refuse to believe that kisii town is now competing in prostitution with cities like Nairobi and Mombasa! I refuse to believe that our local authority cannot do anything to recup the situation I just refuse to believe!! You see , the biggest challenges faced by most yourths is unemployment! When yourths finish their degrees and diplomas they have high expectations to get employed and make a living! But when one has graduated and cnt get employed reason being your tribe or being subjected to sleep with the boss before you get employed! Some go to an extend of asking for bribe! To our misery our judicial system is dead and burried! Am not in any way excusing what this young women and men do on the streets but i will not excuse the government for pushing them to thoss results! There can never be a seller without a buyer so as you point fingers on those prostitues..point twice on the buyers!! Do you know who the buyers are?? The buyers are the civil police officers who ask for bribe all the time! The buyer is your rich father who refused to employ a lady because of her tribe! The buyers are this big mouthy politicians who are pushing yourths to limits they cnt control! I refuse to believe that you and me cnt help ourselves!! I simply refuse!
