I just came across this video of my Uncle Steve aka Charles Stephen Mills Jr. giving a speech when he recently retired as Battalion Chief. I love him so much. I adopted him as my Godfather because of the dynamic bond that we share. This speech touched my heart because of the genuine love that I could feel through it for what he does and the people who he worked with. To Uncle Steve: Thank you for being YOU! Thank you for never allowing anyone to infiltrate the special bond that we have. It is indeed a pleasure and an honor to be named after you (wink wink) and of course Stevie Wonder. You are such a phenomenally amazing man who has overcome so many battles but still stay steadfast. I cannot wait until we are in the same state.
