I just came from the pre-Thanksgivings Dinner of the Masten District Block Club Coalition & the Masten District Common Council office. It was held @ the Klilczak Center on Durham Ave near East Delavan Ave. The event is free and lasts until 4 p.m. for those who havent eaten and might want a taste of some delicious turkey and its stuffing. It is actually homemade stuffing; not that Stovetop Stuffing stuff that is masquerading as stuffing or dressing. Judge Mary Carney and her husband Pat are two of the food servers. How humbling it is for them to be of service to their community, serving the poor, elderly and forgotten on this Saturday afternoon.( I know I have used the word stuffing a lot in this post.
