I just cant sleep tonight, such a heavy heart for many in our community right now. First we receive news that one of our own Wyie High band members was missing and found, thank GOD for answered prayers. Then tonight I hear 2 WEHS students are in custody for murdering one of their classmates. All are just teens babies. Someones baby boy was taken from his parents, family, friends and our awesome community. Why?? This is my Austins age... While 2 other families are, Im sure horrified their baby boys could commit such a horrific and fatal act. Im praying for all families. We have had as a community a very emotional week, weve seen the power of prayer and its still available to us all now. We are so blessed to be a part of this wonderful, caring and thoughtful community, this could/does happen in all communities.Quoting the words of our awesome principal of WHS We...We! Will Prevail & Be Stronger Through our Adversity & Grief! It is the Wylie Way With Character! We are Raider Nation and We are AHMO!!! Austin and Corwin both attend WHS however Austin attends WEHS on Tues and Thursday for dual credit college courses. I want to be the one to tell the boys the news. Please keep our community and all the families involved in your prayers tonight and many days to come. Give that extra hug and kiss to your sweet babies, for they/we are not promised tomorrow.
