I just did my research and made a few calls, and according to what Ive read and was told it isnt FPBs fault that those 24 TV networks (MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon and more) are possibly being pulled tonight. And its also not just FPB that is being railroaded with this it is all rural small cable services nationwide. Even if you switch to Dish or DirectTV those channels are still going to be taken off TV. And the reason behind this is because Viacom (the Network owners) want to charge these companies 40 times the price of inflation (1.01% meaning our bills will go up 50-75%) and FPB doesnt think that is right to charge us even more than what they already are. If they cannot come to an agreement tonight, all said networks will go dark and there isnt ANYTHING we can do about it. Have any questions feel free to message me if you dont understand!
