I just do not know what to think anymore. I am not even mad that this world we live in wants to condemn Israel for everything it does. If we sneeZe the wrong way, we may get charged with a human rights violation. But what baffles my mind is the atrocities that are happening around the world. ISIS is a group of psychopaths, dismembering and killing innocents at will at every piece of land they step foot in. I am not even going to ask where the world outrage is, but I want somebody to answer me - are we really moving forward as a worldly society? This may be the naïveté in me, but does anyone just take a step back ever and ask what the hell is happening around us? Why cant people just stop the killing? Its not just with ISIS, there is so much suffering happening around us in other countries. Its a frustrating question that I will leave for someone with a higher IQ than me to answer. But in the face of such atrocities, I find myself wondering what is the purpose to what we do in life? Millions suffer, millions dont - life goes on - but what does me complaining about this suffering do? Countless human rights groups, and world government bodies seem to be useless. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes in the political landscape (of all countries) - its a complicated worlds that we live in. Anyone else ever think like this? I need some philosophical individuals to add to this conversation. Enlighten me with your knowledge. Maybe Im looking at this world too cynically, and need a variance in my views.
