I just dont understand why, after the taxpayers put in such lovely sidewalks, people insist on walking in the street? It makes me a little crazy! We live on a steep, curvy hill. Part of the drive up to our house is lined with town houses and parked cars on either side. Many times, one car has to wait to let an oncoming car pass in order to squeeze through and I have seen mothers pushing strollers on the street or elderly people with earbuds, avoiding the sidewalk entirely!!! I dont get it! Are there cooties on the tree lined sidewalk? Radiation? Killer bees? Can anyone explain this ridiculous phenomenon to me???
