I just dont understand why public employees dont demand to be in Soc. Sec. instead of union pensions. The taxpayer cannot afford to BAIL THESE PENSIONS OUT. We were not the cause of the spending and underfunding of these pensions. They also did this to our SOCIAL SECURITY. They opened OUR LOCK BOX and used OUR monies to buy votes. This has to stop and it will only stop when we all band together and fight these corrupt politicians and unions. Union members have to admit just as we on soc. sec. do, we have been had. Now they are threatening our income to keep their plantation alive. Unions are the most corrupt organizations in America, on par with politicians, and we need to stand up to their coercion. I know a teacher who is petrified because she may lose her teachers pension that she has paid into. And she blames us, not her union who negotiated for unrealistic returns on her investment. Let me remind everyone in Chicago, one year the monies were not there for a teachers raise and the teachers voted to allow the city to borrow from the teachers pension fund to give them their raise. AND YOU WONDER WHY OUR SCHOOLS ARE FAILING? We all need to work together and not blame each other, blame the politicians and unions for the destruction of our cities and schools. A REMINDER, THESE ARE ALL DEMOCRATICALLY RUN CITIES AND THE SPENDING DOES NOT STOP. Witness Chicago, Rahm Emanuel has just borrowed more money to buy votes. WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! And we have Arnie Duncan chastising whit mothers for thinking their kids are all that! I cannot believe that anyone would stand for this. My kids are worth all that with faults! They are worth every penny I spent on PRIVATE schools.
