I just finished listening to the audiobook of Call of Cthulhu by HP Lovecraft. It was good and I was entertained. I really appreciated his description of Cthulhu. Although, as I was listening to it I couldnt help but notice how many times he used the words queer and negro. Of course, at the time of HP writing this those words were part of the common language of the day but the usage really was close to being redundant to the point of distraction. All in all, it was a good listen.
